Remember, the scene in the bar of the movie "Yes Man" with Jim Carrey? Well, the plot of the movie is that Carrey's character in this movie has made some type of strange pact where he has to say "yes" to everything. Carrey finds himself at a bar, and a strange and attractive young lady walks up to him and says, "Hello." Carrey enthusiastically takes that as an invitation to kiss her in the mouth which he uninhibitedly does. Little does he know that the young lady's big and jealous boyfriend is watching and does take to Carrey's antics too well.
"Hey, guy! What the hell are you doing kissing my girl? Let's step outside."
The guy walks toward the door with Carrey following close behind him.
They finally make it outside to the alley where there is a stand off and the big gives Carrey an "A-whipping".
Carrey's character made several critical mistakes. Let me show you the 4 critical things to do when you are forced to step outside to fight someone.
The 4 Critical Things To Do When Someone Asks You To Step Outside To Fight:
Critical Thing To Do #1 - Always Allow The Big Guy To Go First - You are now setting yourself up for the surprise preemptive strike. (Oh, you're really going to love #2.)
Critical Thing To Do #2 - Grab His Hair (Or Ears) From Behind, And Pull Him Back To The Ground - As you are walking out, maybe just before you get to the door leading outside to the alley, grab his hair with both hands, or, in the case he is clean-shaven on the noggin, grab his ears--and pull his head back hard--slamming his head and back to the ground.
Critical Thing To Do #3 - Kick His Back (With Both Feet) Sending Him Down A Flight Of Stairs - If you are lucky enough to have your aggressor leading you down a flight of stairs, then brace your hands on the side of the wall and kick him with both feet in the back sending him flying down the stairs. Quickly go down with your tumbling companion to finish off the job.
Critical Thing To Do #4 - Once He Hits The Ground, Kick Several Times To The Ribs - Once he hits the ground, curl your toe up slightly, and kick him several times in the ribs. This will completely immobilize and take all of the fight out him.
As my teacher and sensei, Norm Bettencourt of Vancouver, B.C., Canada, taught me, "There is no such thing as a dirty fighter, only an educated one."
