How To Double Your Punching Power
If you are a martial artist or just someone who is interested in combat sports you already know the importance of being able to punch hard. Even though it is not quite as important as having superior punching speed, being able to punch hard is one of the best attributes you can have in combat sports and self defense in general.
The first myth that surrounds punching and being able to punch hard is that you have to be very strong in order to punch hard. This is totally wrong and I have seen proof of this on many occasions. Now don't get me wrong, if you are a big guy and are very strong there is a very high percentage of chance that you will be able to punch hard and potentially knock out someone.
But the most important aspect of punching hard is actually your punching speed. Physics have shown that when you double the amount of your speed your power gets 4 times bigger, in comparison to doubling your weight where the power only gets two bigger.
But the most important aspect beyond speed is actually your technique. Different martial arts use different ways to generate power, but what they all have in common is that they get their power from rotating the body in the right way. Ideally you want to rotate your body in a way so that the power starts all the way from your feet, travel up to your hips where they gain additional momentum, enter your shoulder, elbow, go through your wrist and ultimately exit out of your punch to deliver an extremely powerful punch.
In the beginning it can be really hard mastering this hip rotation but the more you practice, the more times you will get it right and slowly but surely you will start differentiating between when you are punching with the right rotation and when you are not using your rotational power.
Great ways to train this is to work a lot on the punching bag and really focus on your rotations. Remember it is not about punching as hard as you can when you train, it is about punching with the correct technique and rotation. Once you start mastering the technique you can start punching harder and putting more body weight and power into your punches.
One last tip is to watch your wrists as they won't be able to handle big amounts of power in the beginning when they have not yet been conditioned.

Punching Out $5.99 Punching Out features a unique collection of firsthand stories of the rare individuals who have been baptized by rocket fire, pushed beyond the edge of endurance, and experienced face-to-face encounters with their own mortality. These are the pilots who have survived high-speed ejections and lived to tell their stories to a new generation. Except for aerospace technical research, manuals, and periodicals, this is intended to represent the first major body of work on this subject from an experiential perspective. Many of the pilots whose stories are contained here are among the most famous names in the history of aviation. But for each, on that fateful day, fame was of no use. Their lives hung in the balance...from long silk parachute lines. Preceding these awe-inspiring stories of ejection survivors are various pages taken from the past: pilots who bailed out and survived, before there were ejection seats. It is their sacrifices, and their experiences, which has led to future generations who can count on this life-saving equipment in that instant of stark terror and confusion known as punching out.  |

Punching In $10.99 Curious to know just what happens behind the "employees only" doors of big companies, journalist Alex Frankel embarked on an undercover reporting project to find out how some of America's well-known companies win the hearts and minds of their retail and service employees. Frankel knew the only way to find answers was to go native. During a two-year urban adventure through the world of commerce, Frankel applied for and was hired by a half-dozen companies: he proudly wore the brown uniform of the UPS driver, folded endless stacks of T-shirts at Gap, brewed espressos for the hordes at Starbucks, interviewed (but failed to get hired) at Whole Foods, enrolled in management training at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and sold iPods at the Apple Store. At the heart of Punching In lies Frankel's quest to find out how some of the giants of commerce turn thousands of average job applicants into loyal—even fanatical—workers. How do they identify and recruit workers who will best fit their companies? How do they indoctrinate employees into their corporate cultures and make them perfect messengers of their brands? Along the way Frankel pauses long enough to wonder why he is so often immune to corporate attempts to win employees over. In this lively and entertaining narrative, Frankel takes readers on a personal journey into the land of front-line employees to discover why some workers are so eager to drink the corporate Kool-Aid and which companies know how to serve it up best. |

Movement Speed - Dont be concerned with demonstration speed. Your training should focus on developing the applied speed that will help you overwhelm and subdue an opponent in seconds. Alteration Speed - Alteration speed involves the ability to quickly change directions in the midst of movement. Through mastery of body mechanics, you can develop the ability to stop your movement instantly]just in case you initiate a wrong move. Hampering Speed - Speed Hampering is the ability to effectively slow down the opponents reaction time to your attacks. Skill in speed hampering can help compensate for what you may lack in movement speed. Hole Punching $68.51 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Hole punching is a computer networking technique for establishing communications between two parties in separate organizations who are both behind restrictive firewalls. Used for applications such as online gaming, P2P and VoIP, both clients establish a connection with an unrestricted thirdparty server that uncovers external and internal address information for them. Since each client initiated the request to the server, the server knows their IP addresses and port numbers assigned for that session, which it shares one to the other. Having valid port numbers causes the firewalls to accept the incoming packets from each side. UDP hole punching and TCP hole punching respectively use User Datagram and Transmission Control Protocols. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Timpledon, Miriam T./ Marseken, Susan F.
