While it might sound like an easy solution to your exercise problem, buying a mini exercise bike should be done carefully so you don’t make the wrong choice and end up wasting your money. Here are some tips to help you get the most for your money.

First of all, there are many different types of portable, foldable, and mini exercise bikes. You need to decide if you want one where you can sit on it, and then fold it away for storage, or do you just want a pedaling device that just sits on the floor in front of your chair so you can pedal.

Units that have their own seat and fold away typically weigh about 50 pounds, where as units that just contain the pedals weight less than 10 pounds normally. It all depends on how much moving around of the device you want to do.

Another thing to consider when buying a mini exercise bike is the stability. Being a smaller piece of exercise equipment means that the base is often much narrower than a full sized piece of equipment, which means less stability.
