Cricket Bat Pressing

The bat is an important part of the cricket game and it is made from the soft material. On other hand the ball is made of a hard material. So, the bats are designed in such a way that it can easily tolerate hard surface pressure of ball.

Cricket bat pressing is considered to be an important part in the manufacturing of the bats. The cricket bat pressing is done at the time of the process of manufacturing the bat to make bat stronger and harder. It is done so that a bat is able to provide optimal performance. The bat is pressed to withstand against the pressure of the hard surface of the ball.

The cricket bat pressing process helps in giving the shape and to balance the willow by using the heavy mallet. The pressing process is done in such a way that the very hard layer of willow makes the bat resilient enough to wear and tear easily.

The mechanical process of pressing bat is very popular and is widely used in the making of bats. They use different kinds of roller variations in which the pressure applied by hydraulic, pneumatic and weighted cantilever systems. The pressure is applied in the form of increments.
