After Moats had an injury in which he broke his left fibula and suffered ligament damage in the first preseason game for the Eagles in 2007. He ended up missing the entire season.
Knowing that he had to get back in shape fast, his rehab program became his primary importance. So with his trainer's approval he started the P90X workout program.
By spring he was back to 100%! Okay so it worked for him. If you were to ask the question to David Akers -- Does P90X Work? What would he say?
Akers, who is the Philadelphia Eagles all-time leading scorer, is currently in his 10th season with the Eagles. And he put up some impressive numbers during his first eight years with the team. For example he made 59% from the 50+ yard line and 72% between the 40 and 49 yard line.
But his leg strength was an issue.
That's all behind him now. And if you ask them what changed, his answer would be -- an infomercial. Really -- an infomercial? No, not just any infomercial.
But, a P90X workout program commercial. And the results have been dramatic.
It all started last December -- the night before the Eagles played Dallas. Akers was sitting in his hotel room suffering from some pregame jitters. Akers, went ahead with it during the off-season and quickly shed 20 pounds and reduced his body fat by 30% in the process!

Make sure that the resistance bands you use are from a good quality manufacturer. Bands that are of poor quality... similar to plain old "rubber bands" lose their elasticity over time.
