What are the Monster High Dolls?
If you are looking to get a unique and hot toy for your elementary school-aged daughter this Christmas that does not include things like chocolate and sugar, a Monster High Dolls playset might well be just what you're looking for. For individuals who aren't familiar, Monster High dolls were launched by Mattel in the summer of 2010 and have become must-have toys for many girls.
A Monster High doll set consists of the doll, of course, that is essentially a Barbie-sized teenage monster doll that is centered on a character from a classic horror motion picture and boasts flexible legs and arms, the pet of that doll, a journal, other small add-ons, and a doll stand. The rear of each doll's package supplies the owner with some history and biographical information on the doll.
At this moment, Mattel has released a total of six dolls: Draculaura, daughter of Dracula; Laguna Blue, daughter of the Sea Monster; Clawdeen Wolf, daughter of the Werewolf; Frankie Stein, daughter of Frankenstein; and Cleo De Nile, daughter of the mummy, and Deuce Gorgon, son of Medusa, who are sold as a set...they're apparently the "it" couple at Monster High. Each and every doll exhibits characteristics that associate them to the monster mother or father. For instance, Draculaura has a pet bat, and Cleo De Nile cares for a pet snake.
Mattel does suggest the Monster High Dolls set for kids ages six and over because of the small pets and components and the fact that the arms and legs of the dolls are easily removed. That's right, you read that previous statement correctly; the hands and arms on Monster High dolls are detachable. Why? Well, the dolls are monsters, and that purportedly speaks for itself; nonetheless, more practically, owners of the dolls claim that it can make the dolls quicker to dress.
Along with the Monster High Dolls sets, Mattel has developed various other Monster High toys, which include stuffed dolls, and has even designed a Monster High web site, complete with character bios, games, downloadable music, as well as Monster High webisodes. Up to now, one can find 15 webisodes accessible for watching. Monster High, the novel, was released September 1, 2010, the sequel is predicted in September 2011, and following novels are anticipated in the years following. As with most books and films, the assortment of dolls and other add-ons could eventually mature over time.
