Why Goalkeepers now wear Goalkeeper Gloves
Professional soccer goalkeepers did not care to wear gloves in the 60s and 70s. However, manufacturers of goalkeeper gloves have been innovating and designing the gloves construction with labels for use and medical information. Definitely, the two most popular soccer players in the 1960s did not wear any gloves during the game. This does not connote that goalkeeper gloves are not important at all.
