The New Balance Toning Shoes Collection
New Balance toning shoes have rapidly grown in popularity, as women throughout the United States realise that it is possible to tone the legs and buttocks faster, without having to compromise on style. New Balance realised that whilst thick EVA foam is great for shock absorption and muscle activation, it doesn't do a great deal for ones sense of fashion. New Balance running shoes are popular for their cool designs and colour schemes and these have been carried over to the toning shoes range, along with the technology which makes them such a popular choice with runners.
The shoes feature ACTEVA® ULTRALITE foam, offering a 32% weight saving on standard foam without compromising shock absorption. Inside the shoes, a seamless Phantom Liner removes all potential sources of abrasion and keeps blisters at bay. The shoes also feature N-DURANCE® rubber to give the maximum lifespan and great traction in both the wet and dry. With the technology from their running shoes, they bring high performance to the toning shoes market, with a high quality construction for the maximum lifespan.
The New Balance Rock & Tone was released earlier this year, using an adapted rocker sole to achieve the extra burn. Featuring the Rock&Tone system, the shoes increase muscle activity in the lower body by up to 27%, and help burn 8% more calories when walking. The highly comfortable shoes use Walking Strike Path® to move the feet naturally from heel to toe, with leather and mesh uppers for softness and breathability. The low profile design is less pronounced than most of the toning shoes on the market, looking just like their running shoes.
The latest release is the New Balance True Balance range; ultra lightweight toning shoes which increase calorie consumption by up to 10%, and overall lower body tone by up to 29%. They feature the latest toning shoes technology, reducing the EVA foam allowing for a standard trainer design. Looking nothing like a toning shoe, they offer maximum appeal for casual wear whilst getting the body fitter and healthier.
The shoes achieve the extra burn using slimline technology, with a three part construction, keeping the width of the midsole to a minimum. Next to the foot, a thin ACTEVA® foam layer is highly flexible, soft and supportive. A spring system lies underneath offering shock absorption, whilst creating a slightly unstable base. Combined with a slightly rounded outsole, the shoes are highly stable, yet mimic a balance board workout. The muscles of the legs and buttocks have to work harder to maintain balance.
Both brands offer excellent style which can easily be incorporated into every day activities, and ensure that fashion doesn't have to suffer when getting fit and healthy.
