Arthritis, Cancer, Diabetes and Other Illnesses Can Be Helped or Cured By the Power of the Mind
Cancer, long thought to be incurable except perhaps by very invasive medical procedures, has been cured in a number of instances using only the power of a person's mind.
Evidence for "impossible cures" dates back at least to the 1800's. For example, in 1848, Dr. John Elliotson published a case study in the British medical journal, "The Zoist" (Vol. 23, pg. 312). His article is titled: "A Cure of a True Cancer of the Female Breast with Mesmerism."
Diabetes is another condition that is also intimately involved with the power of a person's mind. In the book, "Mind-Body Therapy", by Ernest L. Rossi, Ph.D. and David B. Cheek, M.D., the authors discuss the case of a 33 year old diabetic female who, prior to a hypnotic intervention, had been using 180 units of insulin a day. After her hypnosis session David Cheek, M.D. states that without using any insulin, "Her blood sugar never went over 117 mg. / 100 cc. although she was eating a regular hospital diet from the day of surgery."
Arthritis is a very common and painful condition that many feel condemned to live with for the rest of their lives. Yet according to James Hall, M.D. and Harold Crasilneck, Ph.D., "Whatever the origin of arthritis, the pain of this unfortunate disease often can be alleviated with hypnosis."
The healing potential of the mind has long been suspected but there has never been a large body of evidence collected in one place proving this theory-until now.
In the book "21st Century Medicine: Clinical Evidence for the Healing Power of the Mind", there are over 100 well-documented and astonishing case histories of doctors helping their clients to significantly improve or heal over 50 different serious conditions ranging from acne to psoriasis.
According to the author, the evidence in the book is just the "tip of the iceberg" of what he has seen for clinical evidence attesting to the healing power of a person's mind.
A spokesperson for the Minnesota Institute of Advanced Communication Skills said: "If more people were aware of this information, it could help them to change their lives in remarkable ways. That's why we recommend this book to all our students."

Usually chronic, the broad term arthritis refers to nearly 100 distinct manifestations each with their own etiology, pathophysiology, and treatment. With medical research getting so much attention it is no wonder there have been recent leaps in the investigation into arthritis treatment. Offering a mechanistic approach to pathophysiology and treatment, this book begins with insight into rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and psoriatic arthritis. Section two highlights the consequences of arthritis and the very close relation of arthritis with obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, as well as other related disabilities. The third section focuses on antiarthritic drugs, including an overview and update on antiarthritic drug development by Dr. Micheal G. Lyon from Stanford University School of Medicine, and a chapter on nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Other chapters cover biologics in arthritis treatment, topical applications, and the use of hyaluronan and hyaluronic acid in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Sections four and five are devoted to natural therapeutic and orthopedic interventions such as glucosamine and chondroitin, MSM, capsaicin, shark cartilage, and fish oil, while section six discusses nonpharmacological approaches including physical exercise and acupuncture.
