4 Easy Ways to Get a Steller Chest

Chest muscles are the second show muscles after biceps. Having a strong and big chest is therefore very important. With a combination of different chest exercises, you can easily grow your chest. Here are some good chest exercises.

Seated Chest Presses

This is not different from the regular bench press, only that you are seated as you do this exercise. The main advantage of doing the seated chest press is that you are more stabilized. The weight does not bobble around, so your workout is more focused on your pectoral muscles. This is regarded by many trainers as one of the easiest chest exercises. All you need to do is grip the barbell and push it upwards in a controlled motion. Remember that your elbows should not be locked at the end of the extension.

Decline or Incline Dumbbell Flyes

This pectoral muscles exercise focuses mainly on the upper part of the chest. You must adjust your bench to a 45 degrees angle. Hold two dumbbells on each of your sides and lie on your back. The elbows must be bent to a 90 degrees angle. Arc both of the dumbbells upwards as you bring them close together. Without unlocking your elbows, slowly lower the dumbbells and repeat again.

Wide Grip Bench Presses

This chest exercise is common among bodybuilders. It mainly targets the lower chest. Ensure that your grip is wide and push the weight upward while lying down on a flat bench. Lower the weight slowly and repeat.

Bench Dips

More focus is placed on the lower part of the chest by doing dips with the elbows out. On the other hand, doing dips with tucked in elbows focuses more on the inner pectoral muscles.

There are various other good chest exercises, but these are good to start with. To bring about desired results, ensure that you do 2 or 3 of these chest exercises on a daily basis. Leave 3 days for resting your muscles as this will help them grow.
