Petek Philippe 5960R Annual Calendar Chronograph
Three years after launching the 5960P, an annual calendar chronograph venerable Patek Philippe launched a new watch 5960 - 5960R as presented in red gold.
The 5960R displays an amazing contrast of red gold case and dial Silver and seems more luxurious and nostalgic. The original seems to have 5960P a bit of sport with a touch of elegance so cool and relaxed. For some people, the 5960R with the so-called "soft retro" is a perfect dress watch. But I personally like better than 5960P 5960R as metals white me appeal much more, if 5960R is not bad at all. Nevertheless, justice is in your eyes.
The 5960R is mechanically the same as the 5960P. Just for those who are not familiar with 5960 shows: 5960R displays the day, date and month at 10, 12 and 2 respectively. The power reserve (55 hours) Position indicator is 12 hours. He was appointed annual calendar watch is because the movement has a mechnism that can automatically calculate day of each month. An annual schedule needs adjustment only in February during the leap year. 60 minutes and 12 hours chronograph is posted by hand red and blue respectively on the hand called monocounter 6. There is also a day & night indicator within this counter.The above functions are Supported by Patek Philippe CH 28-520 IRM QA 24H of 456 parts. This self-winding movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 alternations per hour. You can enjoy the charm of this complex and ingenious movement but the glass bottom.
As 5960P, 5960R is complemented by the brown strap, hand-stitched but the rose gold buckles. It is also water resistant to 30 meters.
