Griplock System

Griplock system is an award-winning cable suspension system that has become synonymous with form, function and style in the fields of Architectural Lighting, Retail Display, Sign Hanging, Art Hanging and Suspended Ceilings. An important component of a Griplock system is the Griplock Glider which is a special and adjustable instrument that is specifically designed to securely lock onto a large range of stranded aircraft cables. There is no need for any tools to adjust; up or down, down or up the whole system.

Hanging art objects and murals on fine stainless steel aircraft cables has become the fashion among art display enthusiasts and private collectors alike. What you need to do is install our low profile track along your walls, insert and position the cables and affix your murals.

With the provision of adjustable Cable Gliders you can place any picture frame or art piece anywhere on the wall, with the option of changing it at any time. In addition to that there is the facility of the cable loop that can be used for hanging the paintings on hooks or nails, and there is no need to use it with the track.

Another valuable addition to the Griplock family is the Griplock Gripper, which is a self-locking, fully adjustable, precision-built cable- gripping instrument that installs easily and adjusts without tools. Griplock systems come with standard and proprietary Cable Suspension Kits. A standard Powerfeed Cable Suspension set includes an Adjustable Griplock Gripper, Aircraft Cable with Terminal, Cable Coupler, CrossbarBracket Bar, Ceiling Canopy, Power Cord, and Miscellaneous Hardware.

For fixtures that are a little bit wider than the others a Griploc Y-Cable Suspension System is used along with a single cable. For this system, a Cross Cable Gripper that has a horizontal through-cable attached to it is used. It is possible to install Griplock's Fully Adjustable Cable Loopmaker without the need for any tools. A common usage of this system is to hang High-Bay Industrial fixtures using Y-Cable.
